Willa Carroll’s writing is informed by over a decade of experimental performance work in NYC. Carroll has performed with internationally renowned artists including luciana achugar, DD Dorvillier, Daria Fain, Andrea Kleine, Heather Kravas, Jennifer Monson, Michael Portnoy, Patricia Fox & Tal Yarden, et al. Her own work has appeared at MASS MoCA, DraftWork at Danspace Project, Movement Research at the Judson Church, Hothouse at Performance Space New York, Aunts, and elsewhere. She has choreographed for theater productions at Theater for the New City and The Ontological Hysteric Theater. Currently she collaborates with Australia-based dancer Susannah Keebler and filmmaker Andreas von Scheele, on text-based motion image projects.
